"When we make war on children, we are in serious spiritual
trouble -- in the Sudan and Palestine and Iraq they die for
being in the wrong place at the wrong time, in countries
everywhere children are exploited and abused -- and now we
have a Poster Child event in Russia defining the heartlessness
of ideologies and the people who embrace them.
No doubt the terrorists who perpetrated the Russian
slaughter felt themeselves wronged -- but the 'eye for an eye'
stuff is an ancient and continual circle of retribution that
solves nothing. That's what's wrong with Bush's black/white
war. The absence of war is not peace -- the absence of war is
the Divine Sense of love, respect, commonality, and
cooperation that some of us call God. It is our Higher Angels,
not currently consulted as we are caught in this continual loop
of hatrid and violence, with men like Putin and Sharon and
Bush pushing the policies that create more of the same. What
mankind will yet do in political ferver is a horror story
indeed, even waving their Bibles to prove their points. Well, I
don't care which god they appeal to for courage, strength or
forgiveness ... they have MISSED that point.
It's time for our Higher Angels to win out -- its past time. We
must allow all the darkness we are witnessing to only confirm
our Intention to create a world where power is not corrupted
for profit, little children are safe and loved, and opportunity
for dignity and dialogue are alive and well. Many of us are
taking the political and spiritual baby-steps toward that
reality, trusting -- many MANY of us."
